Civica Plc is committed to developing web applications that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of the web applications we develop and in doing so adheres to many of the available standards and guidelines.

Web Accessibility Initiative

This web application endeavours to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.

W3C Standards

The web application has been built using code that is compliant with the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C) standards forXHTML and Cascading Style Sheets. W3C is the governing authority on web developement standards and practices.

All pages validate as XHTML1.0 Transitional.

All stylesheets validate as CSS2/CSS3.


Whilst Civica strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the web application. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. As My Service Planning 2.0 application is fully configurable by client, it is the responsibility of the client to be retested for compliance after configuration.
